I chose to invest in Apple because my dad recomeded it to me and because the computer industry just keeps growing and Apple is involved with computers.

McDonalds is a fast food resturant that sells your usual fast food like hamburgers, fries, and chicken nuggets. Recently Mcdonalds has been selling inexpensive coffee and coffe drinks to people in order to compete with expensive coffee shops.
Vz stands for Verizon Communications. Verizon is a cell phone service provider and they make cell phones. They began on June 30, 2000 and started trading at the NYSE 3 days later. There price per share as of Friday February 19th is $29.15.

Harley was started in 1903 by William Harley and Arthur Davidson. the factory where the two worked was a 10 x 15 foot wooden shed with the words Harley David Motor Company written on it. Harley makes motorcycles. There current price per share as of Friday February 19 was $24.57.
Gps stands for Gap Inc. Gap is a company that sells clothes. As of 2008 it had 3001 stores. It was started in 1969. Its current price per share as of Friday February 19 is $19.99.
